National Greenhouse Gases Inventory Course
This course sponsored by CONAF and instructed by Ather España, aimed to strengthen the technical skills of nationals in Greenhouse Gases (GHG) inventories in the Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use (AFOLU) and REDD+, including the Forest Reference Emission Level/Forest Reference Level (FREL/FRL). The course specifically approaches the guidelines of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and other methods of the AFOLU sector for the development of the National GHG inventory, advances of the ENCCRV in the REDD+ context emphasising the generation of FREL/FRL, uncertainty calculations of the GHG, and the use tools for the measurement of emission reduction and absorption enhancement.
Statutory background for the implementation of REDD+ in Chile
In this course sponsored by CONAF and instructed by OfReC and Climate Focus participants will be able to update their knowledge on climate change and the available tools to combat it from the perspective of international agreements, political policies and regulatory frameworks.
